Serotonin Boost: Cat Comforts A Crying Puppy In Need, Mom Dog Goes Along With It

Ah, friendship… there's nothing like it. Whether that's leaning on a friend for advice or leaning on a friend to take care of your baby when you're not able to. Friendship is friendship, and those are the rules. Or at least that's what Fig the cat and Olive the Retriever have in mind. We recently stumbled upon a 20-second TikTok video of two golden retrievers; one baby, one mom, and a male cat. 

The video begins with cries from the puppy retriever, it's not clear what he wants but his mom was in no rush to find out. She kinda just stood there, letting him have his little tantrum moment. Maybe she was practicing the cry-it-out method for infants. That's when mom's let their babies cry it out and put themselves to sleep. Well, anyway, Fig the cat was not having it. He's way too sensitive for things like that and had to take things into his own paws.

    It's the way Olive did not bat a single eye at the fact that Fig went ahead and coddled the baby. It's almost as if she was waiting for him to do something sooner. Standing there thinking, "so… are you going to help out or not cuz I gotta go"

    The way he looked at the mom and saw that she was exhausted. He then decided to take on the crying puppy himself and let his friend have a moment of rest because god knows motherhood isn't easy. Kinda incredibly heartwarming!
